Question 1

What is a Futures Prop Firm?

Accepted Answer

A Futures Prop Firm provides funded trading accounts to traders who pass an evaluation challenge. Futures prop accounts allow you to trade futures contracts (like E-mini S&P 500 NQ/ES, Crude Oil, Gold) using the firm's capital, while keeping 80% to 100% of the profits.

Question 2

What is the difference between End-Of-Day (EOD) and Live Trailing Drawdown?

Accepted Answer

End-Of-Day (EOD) trailing drawdown updates only at the end of the trading day based on closed equity, giving open trades room to fluctuate. Intraday live trailing drawdown trails peak unrealized equity in real time, making it stricter.
